Point Blank FM

I can’t drive without having music of some kind playing in the back ground. Either the radio, or a CD, or whatever mp3 is to hand, I simply have to have music playing.

The other night, while driving back home I was scanning through the frequencies looking for something good, when I came across the following belter of a radio station: Point blank FM.

Established way back in 1994, Point Blank FM are the self-acclaimed UK’s longest running House & Dance radio station. They broadcast on two frequencies depending on where you are. Inside London, tune your FM dial to 90.2FM and in Surrey & Hampshire lock on to 103.6FM.

If you live in neither London nor Surrey/Hampshire, you can listen to their station by either visiting their website at http://pointblank.fm/ or checking out their MySpace page at http://www.myspace.com/pointblankfm.

DJs on Point Blank include; Chrissy K & Fi’La Funk, Cossie B, DJ Dazzla, DJ Reds, Loneranger, Honest John, Jak Smoothe, Crazy J, Pic N Mix, Biddle, Shawney B, FutureOne, Nipper and many many more. Between them they play a very uplifing selection of vocal house, funky house, dirty house, electro house - in fact anything thats house. Check it out now!

  1. I’ve been listening to good house music for 20 years plus now and I had never heard of this station until a couple of weeks go (unfortunately). I had bought a new car with a radio that actually works and just found them when playing around with it.

What a find ! My journey to work and every other journey is now an absolute joy. “House music all night long …”. Wicked.

  2. While driving from Lincolnshire to Portsmouth at the weekend I accidentally tuned in on this amazing Radio Station while scanning to find something decent to help the boring journey.
As a massive fan of all House and Dance music I was amazed and more than pleased to stumble upon this station and hear these sounds at 12:30 in the afternoon rather than in the middle of the night for a change!

Unfortunately I cannot pick up the station in my neck of the woods but for future reference will definately be tuning in on my journeys down south - AWESOME :o)
